Affinity Counselling Wrexham is dedicated to offering professional and compassionate support to individuals seeking personal growth, resilience, and mental well-being. Our tailored approach and experienced counsellors ensure a supportive journey of healing and empowerment.
Our team consists of highly qualified and motivated professionals, who are all experts in their field. With many years of experience in the industry, they have the expertise to provide comprehensive, first-rate services to our clients.
Started in 2023 as a private practice, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service to order to guarantee that all of our clients are 100% satisfied. Our therapists are all qualified to at least level 5 in counselling, registered with a professional counselling body, fully insured, and our business is registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) which gives clients the peace of mind that we keep our records safe, confidential and regulated.
Our counsellor's are trained in Safeguarding and undertake regular Continual Professional Development (CPD), appropriate to their individual specialist areas of work.
My name is Beth. Thank you for taking the time to find out a little more about me and my counselling practice. I offer clients one to one, person centred therapy/talk therapy, this means the focus of each session is about you and offering you the opportunity to speak, reflect and be heard in a safe place where all of your thoughts and worries are unconditionally acknowledged and accepted without judgment.
There are many reasons that may lead you to think about counselling: feelings of anxiety, confusion, sadness, loss or low mood; being overwhelmed but not understanding why; or a specific issue both past and present such as bereavement, abuse, divorce or work problems such as stress, redundancy or bullying that you need clarification about.
I understand that it is difficult to admit that you can’t work through these challenges alone; your work-life balance can be affected, and relationships can become strained. It’s often difficult to admit that you need help and that these issues will not sort themselves out but this could be your first step on that journey to a happier, healthier life.
This is where I can help by giving you the space and time to gain a better understanding of what is happening and why. Focusing on the issues affecting you, my counselling offers a safe space to be heard and listened to with respect, acceptance and free of judgment.
I chose to work with young people aged 11-18 as well as adults regardless of ethnicity, beliefs or sexual orientation.
